President & CEO
Our President and CEO Ms. Ann McPherson is not only a doctoral candidate pursuing further behavioral studies, she is also a foster parent who has over twenty years working as a social worker. Her decades of experience include risk management, facility management and has a proven track record as a corporate compliance manager who has managed multiple entities providing therapeutic settings for adjudicated children across three state lines. Ms. Ivy M. Brown
Secretary
Ms. Brown is an Administrative Assistant with over twenty years experience, eleven of which is in the field of academia. She has been a dedicated Youth Leader in her church for over a decade and enjoy working with youths. She's a mother of four which has equipped her to understand everyone is an "individual". Her desire is for every youth to get the opportunity to become the best version of themselves because everyone deserves a chance.

Ms. Yvette Thomas
Treasurer
Ms. Thomas leads a marketing department with the utmost professionalism. Her prowess in all things auditable enable the company to meet and exceed best practices. With a genuine care for our youths her combination of the corporate infrastructure expectations and full understanding of the population we serve has gifted our board with a true dynamic ready and willing to prove our commitment to today’s youth.

Mr. Sidney Boyd IV
Board Member
Mr. Boyd IV is the founder and CEO of SLB4 Vehicle Transport, LLC. He has been an essential part of the Commercial Transportation industry for the past eight years. Mr. Boyd has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing. Becoming a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. motivated his desire to have a solid connection to his community and impact the youth. For over 25 years, Mr. Boyd has influenced the youth through mentorship, education, and vocational coaching.

Mrs. Calvert-Joyner is an Operations Review Specialist with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. Christine has more than a decade and a half experience working with at-risk youth and families. Read more:

Ms. June Francis
Board Member
Ms. Francis is an Administrative Assistant with twenty years of experience working in the Medical Administrative. June specializes in administrative support for the medical doctors and staff and is responsible for educating other employees on using the Ritz Carlton motto ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen. June has led and give instructions to those working under her with listening to and meet the demands of the doctors, nurses, patients, and vendor consider herself a leader with no title. The ability to follow direction given to you by these health professionals is very crucial. Patients and clients safely and wellbeing are in the line, so doing as you asked and always listen with care and compassion. June is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard, succeed and practice self-care. June is inspired daily by her Son Jason Jr and her family of Antiguan descendants. In her free time, June likes to volunteering, hike, cycle, participating in marathons, being around like-minded goal digger individuals, traveling, cooking, spend time with family.

Dr. Tanya Franco

My name is Dr. Tanya Hylton, was born in Jamaica, WI. She is a life-long learner, who is very passionate about the early development of children and teachers’ development. She spent her childhood in Queens, NY and attended college at Utica College of Syracuse University, where she obtained her BA in Political Science. She moved to GA right after college, got married, and had two beautiful children (Micah -21yrs and Naomi 19yrs). She has worked in Early Childhood Education (ECE) for 20 plus years as a teacher, director, and trainer in the private sector, and at an Early Head Start/Head Start Program. She received her Master in ECE from University of Phoenix, and her doctorate in Education Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University. She has been writing and managing federal, state, and local grants since 2004. She recently relocated to Lauderhill, Florida and is loving every moment of it. She currently works as an Education Coaching Specialist for the Broward County Above and Beyond Program.

Senior Pastor at Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church
Reverend Lemons is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the age of twelve she accepted Christ as her savior. The Lord orders the steps of this anointed pastor, teacher, and counselor. The Bible and the Holy Spirit have guided her life, spiritual growth and call into ministry. The Holy Spirit led Pastor Lemons to read Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach to the poor…heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and open the prison to those who are bound.” Read more

Dr. Christina Swilling

Dr. Swilling comes to us with over 25 years of experience in healthcare management. Her ability to leverage assets, reduce cost while meeting the front line needs of our youth can not be understated. Her ongoing inspection of quality control in all fiscal areas while being able to build rapport with our youth proves she is another gift to our board and the youth advocate.
